It is not uncommon for leaders of congregational song to “go through the motions” without considering the words. This session will ponder various words and messages from our hymns and songs to see how they might inspire the manner in which we might play and sing them.
This workshop will explore the idea that marking music can be much more than just circling a challenging note or passage. Markings can actually communicate a variety of things for the whole ensemble which will help improve reading, accuracy and even intonation!
Jeremy & Robert will offer practical tips, ideas and suggestions to help you plan a hymn festival or to embellish your Sunday worship services for Festive occasions.
"I have heard the best of the best presenters of church music year after year after year."
"[The music clinics are] a great place to see and purchase new music and get new ideas for doing liturgy."
"These events are a great place to connect with people who are doing the same thing I do in the church."
